Shay wanted to go on a bike ride this beautiful Saturday morning and I wanted to go to Inkom's Independence Day parade, so we compromised and rode our bikes to Inkom. Wyett peddled with us and Jamie drove all the kids in her Suburban. And so this wonderful day began... How can you go wrong with a bike ride and free candy?

After riding back into town, we ate lunch with the Busenbarks and then took a long nap. Cayben and Embrie napped at the same time which caused fireworks in my mind! Let's just say... that is rare.
Nick and Dani had a BBQ that night. We ate delicious food with family and lit fireworks. Cayben loved the fireworks. In fact, this is the first year he was really interested in them at all.
