Halloween Fun

(Dad, Cayben, & Embrie)

Embrie got to celebrate her first holiday, which is one of my favorite holidays. It's too bad she didn't get to partake in the best part-- the CANDY! Cayben got to eat enough candy to make him sick though, so Halloween was a success.

We started our Halloween by spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Harper. Grandma sewed Embrie a cute little tutu for her costume. Then Grandma and Grandpa took us to lunch. We had to leave lunch in a hurry because Shay got sick.

After resting for awhile and allowing Shay some time to recover, we headed on our next Halloween venture. Shay and I took the kids to the mall to trick-or-treat. At the mall we saw lots of family-- the Busenbarks, the Russells, the Clarks, the Bullocks, and Grandma Kim.

After Cayben got a sufficient amount of candy in his pumpkin basket, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Roesler's house. We visited for awhile, and of course more candy was eaten.

We spent the latter part of the evening at Brian and Kathleen's house. They had friends over for a party and dinner. Cayben reported he had a belly ache, but quickly recovered and went back for more candy. It was fun to mingle with friends, as always. Cayben enjoyed dancing and getting lots of attention.

Cayben was so cute. Cayben was dressed as a dragon and made sure everyone knew it. Every time people would make a comment about him being a dinosaur, he would wait until he had their attention and then make sure to tell them, "I a dragon." He wasn't going to let anyone be confused.

Embrie was dressed in a Franken-Fish shirt. She spent the holiday just looking cute and doing her baby things (eating, sleeping, and pooping).

Shay wore his pumpkin shirt we made last year. I had a fabulous angry bull costume.
