Every year the Bullock's go on a family trip. In the past we've always gone to Bear Lake. This year we changed it up a bit and went to Heise Hot Springs. Grandma and Grandpa Bullock put their trailer at a campground there. Shay, Cayben, Grandma Kim, and I headed to Heise on Friday afternoon to meet the others.
Friday we went swimming. It felt kind of nice to have my heavy belly in water. Cayben had lots of fun, but probably drank too much pool water. (We had some diarrhea
issues later, which makes potty training interesting.) After swimming we sat around the fire and Cayben played with his cousins. Brian, Erika, and Ayden went home that night.
Nick, Dani, Carter, and Avery headed home Saturday morning after having a sleepless night. The Taylors (Shay's parent's friends) made a delicious breakfast. After breakfast we lounged around for awhile and then went to a fishing pond. Cayben had fun fishing, but didn't have any luck catching any fish.
Cayben had his first and hopefully only stealing incident. Cayben was in a little store with Grandpa, decided he wanted a Reeses candy bar, so he grabbed it and ran out of the store and down to the pond where the rest of us were. Grandpa paid for it of course.
Sunday morning, Shay, Cayben, Grandpa Erick, and I went to church. After church we sat around camp for awhile and then decided to head into Idaho Falls. We went and visited the Idaho Falls Temple and went to the visiter center. When we got to the temple Cayben asked if we were getting married. I thought it was cute. Cayben really wanted to go into the temple. It's my prayer that that is his lifelong desire.
After all the weekend fun, we headed home and took a long long nap!
