Cherry Hill

We had our annual Cherry Hill trip this weekend, although it was a little different this year because of the rain. Friday afternoon we got to Cherry Hill. We set up camp and then went swimming in the campground pool.

Saturday we woke up to rain. We all decided that swimming all day didn't seem thrilling in the cold rain, so we had a change of plans. We headed to Hogle Zoo instead. Cayben enjoyed seeing all the animals, but he liked riding the carousel most of all.
After the zoo, we went to eat at the Lion House. Following the Lion House, we went to the planetarium. We watched a movie about planets in the dome theater. As soon as the lights went off, Cayben started singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" in his loudest voice. Disregarding all my attempts to quiet him, he had to finish the enire song. After the movie and walking around the planetarium for a while, we went to an IMAX movie about bugs. The 3D movie freaked Cayben out a little. I guess he didn't like giant spiders right in front of his face. After all the movie fun, we went to the Discovery Center, which is a giant play area for kids.

The next day we tried to go to the Dinosour museum, but it was closed. We went to the auqarium instead. We got to touch sting rays, and Cayben picked up a star fish. After the aquarium and lunch, we went up to Snow Bird Ski Area. We rode the tram to the top of the mountain and walked around in the snow for a while.
Snow Bird is beautiful. I'd love to go back and hike, bike, or ski the trails. It was Shay and my favorite part of the trip, aside from the cost.

We paid only $20 per person to enjoy all of our activities for the two days, including lunch at Lion House. Cayben was free. We had an action packed trip for little cost. You can't beat that! It was fun fun! Cherry Hill swimming will be there next year!
