Our original plans for Thanksgiving were to just hang low and eat dinner with just the four of us. Shay typically works on Thursdays, so we just assumed he would work that day. Just before Thanksgiving, we found out he had the holiday off!
Thanksgiving is just one of those holidays that needs to be spent with people, preferably family, so we decided to head up to Santa Rosa and spend it with my sister, Heather and her family. We drove up Wednesday evening and left Friday morning, so it was super short. It was so great to see family though and we're so grateful for Heather hosting us!
